One single stone, one clear line. This Solitaire Ring places a 0.55 carat marquise-cut white topaz (8 x 4 mm) centre stage. Its slender shape, tapering to a point at both ends, visually elongates the finger and catches the light along its entire length. Legend has it that Louis XV commissioned this cut to echo the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour. Beneath the stone the band stays fine, widening subtly towards the base. With a hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale, topaz is durable enough for every day. Sourced from Jaipur, India. Crafted in 925 sterling silver with germanium for enhanced tarnish resistance.
